Walter Ribeiro has been appointed to the Executive Board, assuming responsibility for the Taste, Nutrition & Health (TN&H) segment effective September 15, 2024. Ribeiro, who has been with Symrise for nearly his entire career, was previously in charge of the global Food & Beverage division and has played a key role in the company’s growth within the nutrition space.
In a parallel move, Dr. Jörn Andreas will leave Symrise at the end of September 2024 to pursue other career opportunities. Dr. Andreas, who was instrumental in steering the Scent & Care (S&C) segment, will be succeeded on an interim basis by CEO Dr. Jean-Yves Parisot until a permanent replacement is found.
