(PRESS RELEASE) ESPOO, 28-Oct-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Neste has restructured its Leadership Team to enhance efficiency and drive improved performance across the company. The changes, effective immediately, include key appointments to ensure focused leadership in a dynamic market environment.
Heikki Malinen, President and CEO, will also assume leadership of Neste’s Renewable Products business area, a strategic segment expected to be central to the company’s future value creation. Malinen highlighted the importance of this new role, emphasizing its potential to contribute significantly to Neste’s growth.
Markku Korvenranta has been named Executive Vice President of Oil Products and Chief Operating Officer (COO), continuing his role on the Leadership Team. He will be responsible for overseeing operations within the Oil Products segment, ensuring continued stability and development.
Eeva Sipilä has been appointed as Neste’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will join the company by May 1, 2025. Until her arrival, Anssi Tammilehto, Vice President of Investor Relations, will serve as interim CFO. Sipilä brings extensive experience from her role as CFO and Deputy CEO at Metso Corporation. She has also served on Neste’s Board since 2022, including as Vice Chair since 2023.

Other members of the former Executive Committee will transition into different roles within the company, except Martti Ala-Härkönen, who will be departing Neste to pursue new opportunities.
