Experian Achieves Workday Certified Integration Status for I-9 Management Solution, Enhancing Employee Onboarding

(IN BRIEF) Experian has achieved Workday Certified Integration status for its I-9 Management solution, enabling organizations using Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to streamline the Form I-9 process during employee onboarding. This integration helps employers avoid errors, reduce compliance risks, and improve the onboarding experience. Experian’s I-9 Management solution is the latest addition to its existing Workday integrations, which also include services for Work Opportunity Tax Credit screening, Tax Withholding, and ACA Reporting.

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 9-Jan-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Experian® has announced the launch of its I-9 Management solution, now integrated with Workday® Human Capital Management (HCM). This latest integration enables organizations using Workday to streamline their Form I-9 processes, helping employers ensure compliance and simplify the employee onboarding experience.

Form I-9 is essential for verifying that all employees in the U.S. are authorized to work, but managing it can be a significant challenge for employers. Common issues include errors, missing information, rule changes, and the need for timely submissions. These challenges can expose employers to audits, penalties, and a frustrating onboarding process. Experian’s I-9 Management solution helps alleviate these issues by identifying errors and missing data before submission, ensuring compliance and creating a smoother process for both employers and employees.

“We understand that I-9 compliance is one of the most challenging aspects of employee onboarding,” said Anne Obee, Vice President of Experian Employer Services. “Our new integration with Workday is designed to automate this process, allowing employers to focus more on the overall employee experience while reducing risks and preventing costly mistakes.”

Workday HCM enables organizations to make informed decisions, gain operational insights, and plan for future workforce needs. Through this new integration, employers using Workday will have seamless access to Experian’s I-9 Management solution, simplifying the completion of I-9 documentation and reducing administrative burdens.

This integration is the fourth for Experian’s Employer Services business with Workday, following previous integrations for Work Opportunity Tax Credit screening, Tax Withholding, and ACA Reporting. Experian’s I-9 Management solution joins these as part of its continued effort to offer streamlined, efficient solutions for HR, payroll, and tax professionals.
