    (PRESS RELEASE) FRANKFURT, 18-Feb-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — KfW IPEX-Bank has committed EUR 50 million in long-term financing to Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe (KVB), the public transport provider for the city of Cologne. A subsidiary of Stadtwerke Köln, KVB will use the funds to advance its plans for modernizing public transport, including the integration of electric buses and key infrastructure improvements. This financing represents a significant step towards enhancing sustainable urban mobility.
