Investing.com – Belgium stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the BEL 20 were Azelis Corporate Services NV (), which rose 1.11% or 0.11 points to trade at 9.99 at the close. Meanwhile, Melexis NV () added 1.08% or 0.85 points to end at 79.40 and Aperam SA () was up 0.75% or 0.34 points to 45.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anheuser Busch Inbev SA NV (), which fell 4.11% or 2.98 points to trade at 69.46 at the close. Lotus Bakeries () declined 3.57% or 420.00 points to end at 11,360.00 and Argen-X () was down 2.14% or 17.80 points to 813.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Brussels Stock Exchange by 62 to 25 and 16 ended unchanged.
for August delivery was up 0.72% or 29.64 to $4,155.34 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in August rose 0.15% or 0.10 to hit $68.79 a barrel, while the September rose 0.10% or 0.07 to trade at $72.19 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.19% to 0.85.
