The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other violence and to provide them with assistance. In Bangladesh, we work closely with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) to deliver life-saving aid and meet the needs of communities affected by violence. We also promote knowledge of and respect for international humanitarian law (IHL).
